Our mission is to support, champion, and enhance life for those 50 and older. Established in 1956, we are the premier provider of innovative programs and services for older adults and their families.
A powerful leadership team of staff, volunteers, and community operates under the FiftyForward umbrella to offer what would be 15 smaller nonprofit agencies in other communities. This includes seven lifelong learning centers (two in Williamson County and five in Davidson County; five of which are accredited by the National Institutes of Senior Centers) as well as FiftyForward Supportive Care programs including FiftyForward Fresh/Meals on Wheels and FiftyForward Adult Day Services and numerous volunteer opportunities.

FiftyForward has 60 (full-time and part-time) employees and approximately 2,500 volunteers who serve approximately 20,000 individuals and their families annually.

At FiftyForward, our top priority is the health and wellbeing of our team members, their families, and the older adults we serve. We are requiring all FiftyForward team members (full, part-time, or temporary) to be fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
Background Checks
FiftyForward conducts background investigations, including a motor vehicle check, and pre-employment drug screening on all prospective employees. Fingerprinting is conducted on applicants applying for specific positions. These investigations are conducted to ensure the safety and integrity of the FiftyForward workplace, programs and services.
All FiftyForward employees who drive must have a current, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
