The open letter continues to generate media and discussion at the legislature.
The Family Action Council of Tennessee '(FACT)' posted about the letter and asked their followers to go after the signers of the letter. Signers were engaged with calls, emails, and negative Facebook review/comments, calling them anti-Christian and sinners as well as other things. We want to thank the signers again, and I would love for you to
take a look at them
as well and thank them or frequent their business. We stand together.
We have the final list of bills we will be tracking this year in the new
Bill Report
. While we are working against all the bills that the Tennessee Equality Projected identified on their
'Slate of Hate'
, we also have some positive business bills we will be supporting. Those include bills on implicit bias training, minority business reporting, and two on taxation.
We expect bills to start moving in committees soon. Please stay engaged and take action when needed.

We attended 'Tools to Help Employers Navigate the Opioid Crisis' on Tuesday. Presented by the TN State Chamber and the Nashville Area Chamber, we were happy to promote and see many of our members in attendance. This event highlighted local resources and organizations employers can work with to prevent opioid misuse in the workplace, how to create programs to reduce stigma, and how to help direct opioid dependent employees to recovery services. Take a look at this
Opioid Toolkit. It was so powerful to hear about this crisis in detail.
