Put on your ruby slippers and take a trip down the yellow brick road to Schermerhorn Symphony Center for Symphony Pride Night as the Nashville Symphony presents Get Happy: A Judy Garland Centennial Celebration.
A Cocktail Reception with complimentary beverages and light bites will take place in the Allen Walter Watson, Sr. Founders Hall from 6:30 – 7:30 pm and during concert intermission.
Broadway stars Morgan James and Nicholas Rodriguez join the orchestra at 7:30 pm to bring the gay icon’s unforgettable songbook back to life—accompanied by rare interviews, family photos, and vintage footage of The Judy Garland Show with never-before-seen outtakes featuring Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra. You’ll swear she’s there in person when you hear “Over the Rainbow,” “I’ll Be Seeing You,” and “That’s Entertainment.” It’ll chase all your cares away!
