Tell us about your business.
Clifton + Leopold was born from a love of classic men’s clothing accessories and the desire to make them more reflective of the world today. A world that’s more diverse, fluid, and empowered. A world where only you can define you, and job one is to build a community you love.
What does being an LGBTBE mean to you?
We're proud to be an LGBTBE business and while the process of certification takes some time, it's 100% worth the effort. The level of support, programming and thought leadership provided by The Chamber is top-notch. The ability to tap into fellow members and learn from them creates a community unparalleled anywhere.
The support at the local level, i.e. The Nashville LGBT Chamber is unbelievable. Their dedication to advocacy and inclusivity at the state level; programming to support growth and strategic development at all stages; and, to provide top-notch networking events to drive collective growth is a game-changer.
If anyone is debating becoming an LGBTBE, we just need a five-minute call. :~)
How can our community best support your business best at this time?
We launched mid-pandemic . . . and the core of our brand is about getting out, building a community and living your best life. That has been on hold for all of us as we weathered the COVID storm. As we celebrate our one year anniversary (actually this week/May 1st) we look forward to introducing ourselves to folks who may not know us.
We are committed to building a community of dapper humans who don't allow anything or anyone else to define them. This commitment to community is at the core of everything we do. For us that means sourcing exquisite fabrics and handcrafting them into products that men and women are excited to wear. It means continually providing our customers with options they can incorporate into their lifestyle, not the other way around. It means marketing that is as diverse and inclusive as the world we live in. Complete with storytelling that reflects the beauty of a wide array of people coming together in a common theme: the desire to live their best life.
The best way to help us is to join the Clifton+Leopold community and consider us the next time you want to get dappered up!
Anything else our community should know about your business?
We will have just launched our Spring Capsule Re-Emergence a couple of days prior to this week so the timing is great. We will want to offer a discount to the Chamber membership and social followers. Is this something I can coordinate with you as it gets closer? I want to think through the offer and make it different than our membership offer. Something probably focused on the new capsule. I just don't know enough about the whole strategy yet.
