We recognize the Autistic neurotype as a natural variation within human neurodiversity. We seek to dismantle long-standing misconceptions about autism that have historically fractured our community - leading to significant unemployment, mental health challenges, and isolation.
By fostering an atmosphere of inclusion and belonging, we empower Autistic people to live authentically as respected members of society.
Autism Tennessee's mission is to bridge the gaps between support, resources, and programs, so Autistic individuals are empowered to recognize their potential and discover the meaningful connections needed to realize their goals.
