TASTE Chamber News Release

Lee Ann Womack to Perform at Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce Fundraiser ‘TASTE’

Country music superstar Lee Ann Womack is set to perform at the annual fundraiser for the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce on Sunday, November 8 at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum. The fundraiser, called simply, TASTE, is the LGBT Chamber’s annual benefit combining food, wine/distilleries and music. The event will include performances by Your Nashville Love Song and Tyler Ray Jacobson and will feature headliner, Lee Ann Womack, presented by CMT.

Womack is in good company, joining last year’s headliner, Crystal Gayle. "It makes our event exciting and is so fitting to have iconic music legends perform at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum,” states Lisa Howe, Executive Director of the Chamber. “We are thrilled to have Lee Ann Womack at TASTE this year."

“We are excited to work with CMT, whose parent company, Viacom, has a long history of supporting LGBT causes. Our partnership began through CMT’s employee resource group, EMERGE, which is one example of how Viacom invests in and empowers their LGBT employees.”

TASTE is the 4th annual food and beverage tasting event that benefits the Nashville LGBT Chamber of Commerce. Nfocus Magazine named TASTE the Best Revamped Party of 2014. The presenting sponsor this year is Bridgestone.
