“PRIDE IN LOCAL MUSIC” TO PREMIERE ON FRIDAY, JUNE 26
A ONE-NIGHT-ONLY LIVESTREAM EVENT FROM AUSTIN & NASHVILLE
ANNOUNCES LBGTQ+ ARTISTS LINEUP
AUSTIN, TX and NASHVILLE, TN (June 22nd, 2020) – The Austin and Nashville LGBT Chambers of Commerce are joining forces to bring you “Pride in Local Music” presented by Dell Technologies, a one-night-only livestream event celebrating music, the rainbow heartbeat of two great cities known for music. This dynamic experience to celebrate Pride month will be held on Friday, June 26th at 6:00 PM CST at PrideInLocalMusic.org and on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
Hosted by Maggie Rose and Gina Chavez, the evening will raise funds for LGBTQ+ artists in both Austin through the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians and Nashville through the Music Health Alliance. Performances from local artists in Austin include Gina Chavez, Alesia Lani, Nakia, Fuvk and Mama Duke. Performances from local artists in Nashville include Alanna Royale, Brody Ray, Joy Oladokun, Maggie Rose, Jaime Wyatt and Tayls. All live performances will be streamed from beloved and iconic venues in both cities including 3Ten ACL Live, Antone’s Nightclub and Waterloo Records in Austin, and Grimey’s Record Store, Exit/In and Bluebird Café in Nashville.
