Nashville, TN: March 31, 2022

Celebrating almost 40 years of ministry, Miriam’s Promise annual fundraising dinner, themed Ignite the Passion, takes place April 29 at the Factory at Franklin’s Liberty Hall. The event will help support the social impact organization as it offers pregnancy counseling at no charge to young women who find themselves in the midst of an unplanned pregnancy, as well as adoption-related services to people hoping to grow their family through adoption. Miriam’s Promise President and Chief Executive Officer Dietz Osborne said the nonprofit agency has impacted thousands of lives since its inception over three decades ago.

“Since 1985, thousands of Middle Tennesseans have been served by Miriam’s Promise as we offer hope and healing to expectant parents, birth parents, children, and adoptive families coping with issues of grief, loss, and transition” said Osborne. “Our staff is the best at offering compassionate care to everyone who walks through our doors. Each person we work with comes to us in a very vulnerable state and we are there to listen, to love, and to help both in times of tough decisions and extreme joy. We acknowledge that there is grief, loss, and celebration in all aspects of adoption and our counselors sit with our clients in a safe space, free of judgment.”

Murfreesboro, Tennessee community volunteer Beth Morris will be honored this year with the Robbin Holland Promise Award.

“Robbin Holland passed away unexpectedly and was a huge agency supporter. With the permission of her family, Miriam’s Promise named the award in order to remember the servant heart she possessed. Beth has served as a volunteer, board chair, and mentor to the agency staff for years,” Osborne said.

The Celebrate the Promise evening will also feature a delicious dinner courtesy of MJ Catering and Events as well as a live and silent auction, live music, and an opportunity to invest in the future of the agency. Ticket prices are: Individuals: $125, Couples: $225, Table of 8: $900. For more information, visit MiriamsPromise.org.
