Pause in Membership Dues Collection During COVID-19
To all our members,
We know these are tough times for everyone. With the financial impact of the tornado followed by the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, businesses and people across Nashville are looking for ways to lower expenses. We want to do our part to help.
Effective today, we are suspending all membership billing until this crisis is over. No member will need to pay any dues or fees. We will also be extending all memberships for our networking members, adding additional time to their membership for all months that we have had to cancel our networking events. This will be automatic and there is nothing you have to do.
We will continue doing our work to advocate, educate and connect through this crisis.
Thanks to the stewardship of our board and staff and the generous support of the Nashville business community, we are fortunate enough to have the reserves to continue our work uninterrupted.
We remain committed to doing everything that we can to support your business during this time and make sure when this is over, our members come back stronger than before. We hope you are aware of our work and know about the COVID-19 resource page and support for members, are following us on social media, and receive our emails.
Thank you again for your commitment and partnership. The Chamber is strong because of you. Together, we will tackle this challenge (and whatever the future may bring), and ensure not only that Nashville and its LGBT+ citizens will get through this but will thrive.
We look forward to our continued partnership. If there are additional ways we can help your business during this time, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Joe Woolley
