Postmates Creates Fleet Relief Fund, Responds to COVID-19
From our member Postmates:
Community health and safety is paramount at Postmates. We are continuing to do non-contact deliveries, to limit interaction. We launched the Postmates Fleet Relief Fund, which aids in covering the cost of co-pays, medical expenses, and sick leave related to COVID-19. We are also working with Congress to expand a paid sick leave tax credit to all eligible contractors who are on the Postmates platform.
We’ve also launched an emergency waiver on fees charged to restaurants and stores that have yet to sign up for our platform, to support restaurants and small businesses who have been hit by the sudden shift away from foot traffic. Our Civic Labs team is here to enable restaurants with excess food to donate to local shelters, students, and homebound seniors in need.
By coming together and following trusted guidelines and recommendations, we can all play an important part in keeping our Postmates community healthy and safe. You can read more about our actions here.
